Bill Fix earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, where he was a Senior Research Fellow in the Center for Terrorism Law and a staff writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Minority Issues. He grew up in Maryville, Tennessee, before his dad’s career relocated the family to Missouri in 1994. In 2013, Bill and his wife Becky moved back home to the Knoxville area where Bill opened his solo law practice.
Having worked for a small general practice firm in San Antonio, Bill learned a variety of practice areas including wills and estate planning, probate, family law, et al. Prior to working as an attorney, Bill served as Assistant Communications Director and Director of Constituent Services for Missouri Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder. His experience also includes working as a licensed investment rep for Edward Jones and marketing for Enactus, an international nonprofit. In 2024, Truth Publications published a Bible study class workbook authored by Bill entitled Legal Principles and the Bible, a ten-lesson workbook surveying important legal principles that are accepted in modern society and reflected in doctrines taught in Scripture.
Bill enjoys spending time with his family, following the Tennessee Vols and Buffalo Bills, and smoking pulled pork and St. Louis style ribs. He is a member of the Federalist Society and the Blount County Bar Association. Bill formerly served as Public Relations Chair for the Missouri Community Service Commission and on his neighborhood’s HOA board.
